I've never been great at answering, "Tell me about yourself." It always feels like a loaded question, and I never really know what people are getting at when they ask. There's a lot to me, and I don't think one answer could ever cover it.
So instead, here's a look at what life's been looking like lately.
Most of my free time has been going into this new business and figuring out what I want Brittney Ave to become. It's been equal parts exciting and overwhelming, but I'm learning a lot, trying new things, and leaning more into the parts of myself I've ignored for a long time.

I've also been making time to get back to YouTube. Between work, mom life, and everything else I manage on my own, it's taken me longer than I would've liked. But I've really missed it, and judging by the comments, it seems a lot of you have missed me too.
Right now, I'm focused on creating enough stability to give more of my time to the work I actually want to be doing.

Summer with a nine year old is definitely keeping me busy.
Even with summer camp, I still have the early morning drop-offs, afternoon pickups, and the ongoing job of keeping a nine year old boy entertained. Trying to balance everything while making sure we're actually enjoying the summer, we've been on plenty of play dates and activities around town, making memories wherever we can.

I've been reminding myself that starting over isn't the same as starting from scratch.
I'm learning that the life I'm building doesn't have to make sense to everyone else, it just has to make sense to me.
I'm choosing slower days, meaningful work, and projects that let me be creative.
