I first want to start by saying, thank you. Thank you for being here, and thank you for taking the time out of your day to see what's up. Whether you stumbled upon me or have been following for a while, I’m grateful to have you.

This blog, this space, Hustle & Heart, has been on my heart for a long time, and was born from a life in motion, full of love, hustle, hardship and healing. Here you will find more than just stories and tips, you'll read a real time reflection of my journey, my growth, and the real, messy, magical, intentional life I'm building as a single-mother and entrepreneur. Not perfect. Not polished. Just honest. Full of purpose, and deeply rooted in heart. My hope is that you’ll find something here that feels like a deep breath, a high five, or a gentle reminder that you're not alone.

I named this blog Hustle & Heart because it perfectly captures the vibe of my life. As a single-mother and entrepreneur, I’m constantly navigating the balance between ambition, while staying rooted in what matters most. The hustle is the drive and determination. The late nights, the business goals, the creative fire that keeps me moving forward. And the heart? That’s the love I pour into my son, my healing, and every meaningful moment along the way. This space is where both exist side by side. Where ambition doesn’t come at the cost of intention, and where I get to build a life that’s full, honest, and deeply mine.

Brittney Ave represents more than just a name, it’s a personal path, a declaration of ownership over my journey. "Ave" symbolizing a lane that's uniquely mine, where every step reflects my life, and my way. It’s about the power of one. One woman, one decision at a time, creating a life that’s rooted in authenticity, purpose, and self-defined success. Brittney Ave is where my story unfolds, unapologetically, intentionally, and always with heart.

Pouring With Purpose

Then there’s Pouring with Purpose, this is where I share insight into my bartending experience. Traditionally, working in bars and restaurants, as well as operating my own mobile bartending service for private parties and events. Starting from zero has taught me a lot, however, I learned, that I don't actually like bartending, and it's time to take a different approach.

Still inspired to help others, this space will reflect on my experiences, and use bartending to create a new path for myself. One that empowers those who want to turn their mixology skills into a thriving business or for those just curious.

The Shift

The Shift is my experience of transition, from operating a mobile bartending business to building a brand that aligns with the life I want.

For years, I've been deep in the grind of hauling gear, pouring drinks, and managing events. It taught me a lot about business, work ethic, and resilience, but as time went on, I saw how deeply unfulfilled I still was. I wanted more freedom, more fun, and more alignment with my long-term goals. This category is about making that shift.

Here, I share what it looks like for me to transition out of survival-mode and into building something softer. A business that reflects who I am, supports my lifestyle, and creates space for creativity, motherhood, and financial growth.

Whether I’m sharing lessons from entrepreneurship, documenting the messy middle, or exploring new ways to grow a personal brand, I’m doing it with purpose. This is for other single mothers, creatives, and multi-passionate entrepreneurs wanting to do business differently.

Moments of Me

In Moments of Me, you’ll find the ways I pause, breathe, and take care of me. Because let’s be real, if I don’t take care of myself, everything else suffers. Whether it’s a new hair style, a moment of reflection, or choosing to rest instead of rush, this space is my reminder that self-care is a necessity.

Simplified Luxury

Simplified Luxury is where my love for beauty meets my commitment to living simply. It’s my perspective into mindful, minimalist living that doesn’t sacrifice comfort or style. I'm creating a home that looks aesthetic but funcational, and holds peace, not clutter.

Miles of Memories

And finally, Miles of Memories. It’s where I document my son and I's adventures, just me and my best bud, traveling and exploring together. From weekend getaways to longer escapes, these are the memories we’re making, and the connection we’re building, one trip at a time.
